Gold and silver prices recorded a notable decline today, offering temporary relief to buyers after the recent surge in precious metal rates.
As of 9:44 AM this morning, 22-carat gold is priced at ₹16,200 per gram, down by ₹600 from yesterday’s rate of ₹16,800 per gram. Similarly, 18-carat gold has fallen by ₹400, now trading at ₹13,500 per gram.
Silver prices have also dipped. The rate of silver stands at ₹415 per gram, marking a ₹10 drop from yesterday’s price of ₹425 per gram.

Market experts say the decline may encourage fresh buying, especially from jewellery customers, after the sharp price hikes witnessed in recent weeks.
